Bishop von Bermel is a very handsome 12 month old German Shepherd mix on the smaller side who is ready to join you on life's adventures.  Bishop is one of those dogs who is all-in once he has time to get to know you. His whole body wiggles with excitement when he greets his favorite people at the rescue, and he can be very affectionate. He does need proper introductions to new people so he would do best in a home without a lot of people coming and going. His love for treats makes him an enthusiastic training partner. He's a natural adventure buddy who loves getting out and exploring the world, walking nicely right alongside other dogs as a happy greeter while staying connected with his handler.  In dog playgroups, this boy is a social butterfly, bouncing from friend to friend for lively games of chase and play.  He also enjoys water play and sliding in wet grass. He has passed his test with little dogs, but isn't for cats. Curious and adventurous, Bishop is ready to be your everlasting companion, ideally with another playful pup or two.
